COSCO adjusted the cost of several routes since July

　　COSCO has announced that since July 1,COSCO will adjust the surcharges and freight charges for the following routes.

　　Fuel surcharge(BAF)and currency surcharge(CAF)will be imposed on East-West cargo on the routes from the Far East(including Japan)and the Indian subcontinent to the Mediterranean Sea in northwest Europe.

　　Caf is charged at the rate of 16.12%of ocean freight.In the Mediterranean region,the scope of application includes Lebanon,Syria,the Black Sea,West Africa and North Africa,excluding Israel.

　　Northwest Europe,the Mediterranean Sea to South America east route,will levy BAF to the north and south direction cargo.BAF of goods from western Northern Europe,Mediterranean to South America and East is 460 euro per 20 containers and 920 euro per 40 containers,while BAF of goods from South America east to northwest Europe and Mediterranean is 270 US dollars per 20 containers and 540 US dollars per 40 containers.

　　The BAF between Far East and northwest Europe is$780 per 20 containers and$156 per 40 containers.

　　The BAF of goods between the Far East and the Mediterranean(including Israel,Lebanon,Syria,the Black Sea,West Africa and North Africa)is US$747 per 20 containers and US$1494 per 40 containers.

　　Emergency fuel surcharge(EBS)will be imposed on East-West cargo on routes from the Far East to northwest Europe and the Mediterranean.EBS rate is:160 US dollars per 20 cabinets.

　　The freight rate of goods(including cold box)on the route from far east to South America will be increased.The specific increase range is:500 US dollars per 20 cabinets,1000 US dollars per 40 cabinets,and 1000 US dollars per 40 high cabinets.

　　For the Far East to red sea route,emergency risk surcharge(ERs)will be imposed on East-West cargo(including cold box).Ers rate:US$49 per 20 cabinets.

　　BAF between India and Pakistan and the Mediterranean region of northwest Europe(including Israel,Lebanon,Syria,the Black Sea,West Africa,and North Africa)is$468 per 20 containers and$936 per 40 containers.
