Niigata, Japan will resume the sea route across Japan, connecting Northeast China

　　According to the Niigata daily of Japan's Niigata Prefecture on the 21st,the Niigata municipal government announced recently that it is expected to resume the sea route across Japan which has been suspended since September 2009 in late July.

　　It is reported that the route is a direct route from Xinxie to Zarubino,Russia.Japan hopes to connect Hunchun City,Jilin Province,China by land from Zarubino,Russia,and stimulate the economic vitality of Niigata by opening a direct logistics line to Northeast China.

　　Relevant people said that companies have expressed interest in the route.The Niigata county government plans to open a tender for shipping companies.The Niigata municipal government introduced the plan to resume the air route at the meeting of the Permanent Committee on environmental construction at the regular meeting of the City Council in June.
