Maersk plans to impose a fee on customers who withdraw from their positions without delivery

　　Maersk shipping day plans to charge customers who cancel booking due to failure to deliver the goods as contracted.The standard plan is:100 US dollars for ordinary containers and$500 dollars for refrigerated containers.At the same time,if Maersk fails to ship the cargo ordered by customers in time,it will also make corresponding compensation.

　　It is reported that customers'failure to deliver and ship goods on time after booking has become a common phenomenon in the industry,which has brought about a lot of losses to shipping companies.On average,20%of the scheduled cargo fails to arrive at the port for shipment on schedule,and some even reach 40%.

　　Therefore,Maersk has carried out long-term research and made sufficient preparations to solve this problem.Maersk believes that the company does not levy this fee for profit,but to change some attitudes and habits of customers.
