Mitsui, a merchant ship, promotes the route from Asia to South America / Africa

　　In order to consolidate its position as a core trade route,Mitsui said it would double its tonnage level in East Asia,South America and Africa.

　　According to the company's spokesperson,the trade between Asia and South America/Africa accounts for 13%of the total volume of Mitsui container trade and 14%of the total profit,far exceeding that of Japan.

　　From next month to 2012,the merchant ship Mitsui will replace the existing 9 4250 TEUs with 10 new 5600 TEUs container ships.In addition,three 5800 TEU Container Ships ordered by Sanhu heavy industry of South Korea will bring the fleet size of the route to 13.
