Ningbo spends a lot of money to speed up the construction of port and shipping infrastructure

　　It is reported that during the"12th Five Year Plan"period,Ningbo will spend 16.943 billion yuan on the construction of port and shipping infrastructure.It is estimated that there will be 28 new production terminal berths and 120 million tons of handling capacity,including 7 new container berths and 5.2 million TEUs of handling capacity.

　　According to the 12th Five Year Plan,by 2015,Ningbo's port cargo throughput will reach 550 million tons and container throughput will reach 20 million TEUs.The port service capacity will be further improved,and its role in Shanghai international shipping center will be more prominent.The embryonic form of important international logistics center and resource allocation center in Asia Pacific region will be basically formed.

　　In order to achieve this goal,Ningbo will accelerate the construction of port and shipping infrastructure during the 12th Five Year Plan period.Among them,coastal engineering investment is 15.633 billion yuan;inland river engineering construction investment is 890 million yuan;waterway anchorage facilities construction investment is 420 million yuan.
