Guangzhou Customs and MSc cooperate to promote Nansha port terminal

  On July 4,Guangzhou Customs and Maersk(China)Shipping Co.,Ltd.Guangzhou Branch signed a memorandum of cooperation.The two sides will cooperate closely in liaison and coordination,standardized management,customs clearance convenience,data exchange,legal publicity,and trade security maintenance to jointly promote the scientific development of Nansha port.


  According to the contents of the MOU,Guangzhou Customs will give corresponding guidance in import and export policies,legal publicity and business consultation;Maersk shipping has made a commitment to consciously abide by national laws and regulations and customs management regulations,and actively cooperate with customs supervision.The two sides will establish contact and cooperation mechanism,strengthen information exchange and interaction,promote the development of shipping industry and create regulations To create an efficient port environment.


  Mr.Gai Shuo Ren,President of South China region of Maersk shipping company(Mr.Soren Karas,who attended the signing ceremony,said that the signing of the memorandum of cooperation is a more concrete,practical and positive step to promote Maersk shipping's substantial increase in route affiliation in Nansha,Guangzhou.He added:"Nansha port has become a new gateway for Maersk shipping in South China,which can reduce transportation costs for customers and enable them to enjoy very reliable and environmentally friendly services.


  The signing of the agreement with Guangzhou Customs will help to recognize the convenient services provided by Nansha port,and also prove the firm determination of relevant parties to build Nansha port into a world-class port."
