Ningbo port's throughput reaches a new high from January to June

　　Ningbo port,based on its natural geographical advantages and riding on the"ocean economy",has reached a new high in the first half of the year.

　　Yesterday,the reporter learned from Ningbo Port Co.,Ltd.,that from January to June this year,the cargo throughput of Ningbo Port reached 208263000 tons,a year-on-year increase of 7.5%;the container throughput reached 7.0812 million TEUs,up 13.7%year-on-year,both reaching a record high in the same period of history.By the end of June,Ningbo port had 239 container routes,a net increase of 11 compared with the end of 2010,including 132 ocean routes.In the first half of the year,the average monthly flights were about 1236,an increase of 14.2%over the same period last year.
